New figures for April 2018 Tax Year.

National Minimum Wage

From 6th April 2018 the new standard tax allowance is £11850.

The Living Wage rises to £7.83 Gross

The National Minimum Gross Wage

£7.38 – 21 to 24 year olds

£5.90 – 18 to 20 year olds

£4.20 – 16 and 17 year olds

£3.70 – Apprentices

Statutory Maternity pay is £145.18 gross per week.

Statutory Sick Pay is £92.05 gross per week

Automatic Enrolment

The rates increase from 6th April 2018 to employee 3% and employer 2%.

If you place a nanny with a new family they must now also comply with automatically enrolment immediately.
