ID-100181916 (Mothers Help)There are a number of different definitions for those who are employed to provide care for one or more children in a family as a service. Traditionally, child-carers were nannies (who often lived-in with the families whose children they care for) or governesses (who were largely largely responsible for the education of the children in their charge). Today, modern nannies may live in or out of the family home dependent on the family circumstances or the needs of the child/parent.

In these links we take a look at what the difference is between the roles of the Nanny, Housekeeper Nanny, Childcare Practitioner, Maternity Nurse and Mother’s Help.
